2024年3月17日，上海星河湾双语学校迎来第102期沙龙——胡家怡个人作品展“掀开帷幕”（Lift the Shroud）。本次沙龙于星河湾综合楼二楼艺术沙龙画廊举办，由包叶舟老师指导。沙龙开幕当天，胡家怡向前来参加开幕式的来宾们介绍了创作作品时的构图后期思路以及心路历程，并互动交流。

Shanghai Starriver Bilingual School celebrated its 102nd Art Salon on March 17th, 2024, displaying Sarah’s solo exhibition “Lift the Shroud.” The salon was held in the Art Salon Gallery on the second floor of the Complex Building, under the guidance of Mr. Bao. During the opening ceremony, Sarah engaged with attendees by sharing insights about the inspiration behind her work, as well as her journey in creating the art pieces.

胡家怡表示，这次的主题名根源于对自我以及周围环境的探索、感知。正如前言中所说：“这是一次自我的探索，一场内心深处的革命，展现的是一个被着色，扭曲，甚至颠覆的世界。在这些看似个人的经历中，我相信总会有那些能让每个人都共情的，普世的元素。” 在作品中体现的正是每个人掀开内心的一角，逐步发掘自我的过程；但同时，这也是掀开世界某一面的过程——在途中，我们找寻一个独一无二的世界，一个与我们的心灵连结，与我们的生活相伴，无处不在却隐秘的世界。而某一天我们都将找到它。

The theme of this art exhibition is “Lift the Shroud,” a topic rooted in the exploration and sensation of the self and the surroundings. As the preface admits, “It is a self-discovery, a revolution internalized, a world colored, toppled——even distorted. Yet under these seemingly personal experiences, I believe that there are always some universal elements to which all of us can relate,” it is the process of lifting and peeking within to discover our own internity. But moreover, this is also a process in which a part of the world is uncovered. As we hurry down the path of time, we search for that unique world, a world connecting our hearts, accompanying our life, an omnipresent world that seems to be obscured——and one that will be revealed someday.
