不同历史时期修筑的长城，以及沿线的敌台、烽火台和营堡，共同构成了庞大的边防体系。展板通过地图和时间线串联这些历史，带领观众将目光投向陕西最北端的府谷。这里保存着大量明长城遗存，其中不少由当地黄土层层夯筑而成。展板介绍了夯土长城的建造方式：将土分层填入模板，再反复夯实、逐层叠加，最终形成坚固的墙体。经过数百年的风吹雨淋，部分墙体已逐渐融入黄土高原的地貌，呈现出与砖砌长城截然不同的面貌。

雨水、风蚀和冻融不断改变着夯土墙体的形态，一些人为活动也可能对遗址造成影响。面对这些变化，是谁在守护它？展览中央的投影讲述了 文保员 和志愿者的故事：有人从民间志愿行动开始，坚持参与长城保护二十多年；有人长期驻守工作站，为巡护人员提供生活保障；也有人奔走在偏远的长城沿线，在风雨中完成一次次巡查。他们的故事没有太多惊天动地的场景。更多时候，保护意味着一次巡查、一份记录、一顿饭，或是在同一个地方坚持很多年。桌上摆放的《奉献》一书由府谷长城保护工作站站长撰写。书中的“奉献”，也在这些日常劳动中变得具体起来。

现场还展示了往期长城文创工作坊的绘画和泥塑作品，以及刘承英设计制作的文创产品 Eight Great Wall Friends 和手稿。通过创作，长城不再只是遥远的历史符号，也成为年轻人可以观察、触摸和重新表达的文化对象。文保员日复一日的坚守，与年轻人对历史文化的新想象，以不同的方式连接着长城与今天。

从夯土墙的建造技艺到数百年来的自然风化，从文保员的日常坚守到学生们的驻足了解，此次展览引发了一个值得思考的问题：我们如何走近文化遗产、理解它的价值，并让它的故事在今天继续流传？

府谷长城或许鲜为人知，却始终是我们文化遗产中不可或缺的一部分，也因守护者的坚守而延续着生命力。“爱我中华，护我长城。”了解它的历史，分享它的故事，每个人都可以为文化遗产保护贡献一份力量。也希望更多年轻人能受到启发，接过讲述长城故事的接力棒，让这份珍贵的文化遗产在未来继续焕发生机。

When people think of the Great Wall, they may picture a brick wall winding along mountain ridges. Yet in Fugu County, at the northernmost edge of Shaanxi, it takes on a different appearance. Recently, a themed exhibition on the Fugu Ming Great Wall, curated by Margaret Liu from Class 11-2, was held on campus. Through historical displays, personal stories, images, a documentary, and original cultural and creative products, the exhibition invited students to learn more about this lesser-known stretch of the Great Wall and the people dedicated to protecting it.

Built during different historical periods, the Great Wall and its watchtowers, beacon towers, and forts formed an extensive system of border defense. Through maps and a historical timeline, the exhibition introduced this broader history and guided visitors toward Fugu, in northern Shaanxi. The area preserves many remains of the Ming Great Wall, including sections built by compacting layers of rammed earth. Exhibition panels explained this construction technique: soil was placed into a frame layer by layer and repeatedly tamped down to form a solid structure. After centuries of exposure to wind and rain, some sections have gradually blended into the surrounding Loess Plateau, giving them an appearance quite different from that of the familiar brick-built Great Wall.

Rain, wind erosion, and cycles of freezing and thawing continue to alter the rammed-earth walls, while some human activities can also damage the remains. In the face of these challenges, who is protecting the Great Wall? The central projection featured stories of conservation workers and volunteers. Some have participated in Great Wall conservation for more than twenty years. Others have remained at the protection station, supporting the daily needs of patrol teams. Still others travel along remote sections of the wall, carrying out patrols in all kinds of weather.

Their stories are not always filled with dramatic moments. More often, protection means a patrol, a record, a meal prepared for others, or years of commitment to the same place. On a table was a book titled Dedication, written by the head of the Fugu Great Wall Protection Station. Through these everyday acts of service, the meaning of its title becomes tangible.

The exhibition also displayed drawings and clay sculptures from previous Great Wall cultural and creative workshops, along with original products designed and created by Margaret, including Eight Great Wall Friends, and her design sketches. Through creative work, the Great Wall becomes more than a distant historical symbol; it becomes a cultural heritage that young people can observe, explore, and reinterpret. The dedication of its guardians and the ideas of young creators connect the Great Wall with the world we live in today in different but meaningful ways.

From the techniques used to build rammed-earth walls to the natural erosion they have undergone over centuries, and from the daily commitment of conservation workers to the students who paused to learn, the exhibition raised an important question: How can cultural heritage continue to be seen, understood, and appreciated today? Though less widely known, the Fugu Great Wall remains an irreplaceable part of our cultural heritage, sustained by the dedication of those who protect it. “Love our country. Protect our Great Wall.” By learning about its history and sharing its stories, we can all play a part in its preservation. We hope more young people will be inspired to carry these stories forward and keep this remarkable heritage alive for generations to come.

在机器人竞赛中感受

技术、 团队与成长

一场以“FRC之旅”为主题的展览在我校四楼中庭举行。展览由G11-6班蔡卓恺同学策划，通过展板、实物展示与现场讲解，向师生介绍了他参与 FRC （FIRST Robotics Competition）机器人竞赛的经历与收获，也呈现了团队在机器人设计、赛事参与和文化建设方面的成果，吸引了不少师生驻足观看和交流。

本次展览以蔡卓恺同学所在的FRC Team 10711为核心展开。Team 10711，成立于2024年，是一支由学生主导的机器人队伍，始终秉持“过程重于结果”的理念。团队成员由热爱科技的初高中生组成，并得到资深FRC校友和导师的专业支持。工程设计、程序开发、媒体外联与赛场侦查等各项工作，均由成员自主规划、决策并执行。展览还重点呈现了团队所秉持的核心价值观——高尚的专业精神与协作竞争精神，并回顾了队伍近年来取得的亮眼成绩，包括2025年海南休赛期赛事冠军、2026年美国北光区域赛四强以及2026年上海区域赛六强。

除此以外，蔡卓恺同学还在展示了其他许多与FRC相关的物品。其中最引人注目的是团队自主设计的文创周边，以及复刻自FRC“传奇强队”Team 2910 2025赛季冠军机器人的模型。这些展品让观众更直观地认识到，FRC不仅是一项“搭机器人、打比赛”的活动，更是一项融合机械设计、编程控制、团队协作、品牌传播与工程文化的综合性挑战。通过对机器人结构、功能设计和比赛策略的介绍，蔡卓恺同学向前来参观的师生展示了FRC机器人的复杂性与竞技魅力，也让大家对“高中生如何完成一台高水平竞赛机器人”有了更具体的认识。

展览期间，蔡卓恺同学还主动邀请了同学和老师们来到现场，并向他们介绍自己的FRC经历。从队伍创立初期的分工协作，到赛季中不断迭代机械结构、调试程序、完善战术，再到走上赛场面对高强度对抗与临场压力，这一路经历不仅是一场技术挑战，也是一段关于责任、合作与成长的旅程。在讲解过程中，他结合展板和实物展示，分享了自己参与工程设计、赛事准备和团队运营的体验，也谈到了自己对FRC精神的理解：机器人固然是比赛的核心载体，但真正支撑一支队伍不断前进的，是成员之间的信任、默契与共同投入。

对于蔡卓恺同学而言，举办展览的初衷不仅是介绍一项机器人比赛，更是希望让更多人了解FRC背后的意义。“FRC让我接触到了真正的工程实践，也让我体会到团队合作的价值。”他说，“从设计一台机器人，到和队友一起把想法一步步变成现实，这个过程让我学会了如何面对问题、如何沟通协作，也让我更加坚定了继续在工程领域探索的兴趣。”

这次“FRC之旅”主题展览，不仅展现了星校学子的科技素养与实践能力，也让更多师生看到了机器人竞赛背后的教育价值。展览呈现的不只是赛场上的成绩和机器人的性能，更是一位高中生在工程实践、团队协作与科技探索中的真实成长轨迹。从此，FRC不再是一个陌生的英文缩写，而成为一段关于热爱、创造与坚持的青春故事，也让更多人看见当代高中生在科技领域的热情、视野与担当。

From June 1 to 5, the “FRC Journey” exhibition was held in our school’s fourth-floor atrium. Curated by Cai Zhuokai from G11-6, the exhibition used display boards, physical exhibits, and on-site presentations to introduce his experiences and takeaways from participating in FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition). It also showcased the team’s achievements in robot design, competition participation, and team culture, attracting many students and teachers to stop by, learn, and exchange ideas.

The exhibition centered on FRC Team 10711, of which Cai Zhuokai is a member. Founded in 2024, Team 10711 is a student-led robotics team guided by the belief that “the process matters more than the result.” Its members are middle and high school students with a passion for technology, supported by experienced FRC alumni and mentors. Every aspect of the team’s work—from engineering design and software development to media outreach and match scouting—is planned, decided on, and carried out by the students themselves. The exhibition also highlighted the team’s core values of Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition, while reviewing its recent achievements: champion of the 2025 Hainan Off-Season Event, Top Four at the 2026 Northern Lights Regional in the United States, and Top Six at the 2026 Shanghai Regional.

Beyond the display boards, Cai Zhuokai also presented a range of other FRC-related items. Among the most striking were the team’s self-designed merchandise and a replica model of the 2025 championship robot built by Team 2910, a renowned FRC team. These exhibits helped visitors see more clearly that FRC is not simply about “building robots and playing matches.” Rather, it is a comprehensive challenge that combines mechanical design, programming and control, teamwork, brand communication, and engineering culture. By explaining the robot’s structure, functional design, and match strategy, Cai showed visiting students and teachers both the complexity and the competitive appeal of FRC robotics, giving them a more concrete understanding of how high school students can build a high-level competition robot.

During the exhibition, Cai Zhuokai also took the initiative to invite fellow students and teachers to visit and learn about his FRC journey. From the division of responsibilities in the team’s early days, through repeated iterations of mechanical systems, program debugging, and strategic refinement during the season, to facing intense competition and pressure on the field, the experience was not only a technical challenge but also a journey of responsibility, collaboration, and growth. During his presentation, Cai drew on the display boards and physical exhibits to share his experience in engineering design, competition preparation, and team operations. He also explained his understanding of the FRC spirit: while the robot is the centerpiece of the competition, what truly enables a team to keep moving forward is the trust, rapport, and shared commitment among its members.

For Cai Zhuokai, the purpose of the exhibition was not only to introduce a robotics competition, but also to help more people understand the meaning behind FRC. “FRC has given me the opportunity to engage in real engineering practice and experience the value of teamwork,” he said. “From designing a robot to working with my teammates to turn our ideas into reality step by step, the process has taught me how to address problems, communicate, and collaborate. It has also made me even more determined to continue exploring the field of engineering.”

The “FRC Journey” exhibition not only showcased the technological literacy and practical abilities of Starriver students, but also helped more teachers and students recognize the educational value behind robotics competitions. What the exhibition presented was not simply competition results and robot performance, but the authentic growth of a high school student through engineering practice, teamwork, and technological exploration. Through the exhibition, FRC was no longer an unfamiliar acronym; it became a youthful story of passion, creativity, and perseverance, while revealing the enthusiasm, vision, and sense of responsibility that today’s high school students bring to the field of technology.
