春启新程，笃行不怠。2026年3月1日下午，上海星河湾双语学校高中部2025学年第二学期开学典礼在学校大礼堂隆重举行。全体师生齐聚一堂，以“笃行致远，步步精深”为主题，共同踏上新学期的新征程。

典礼伊始，两位主持人登台宣布典礼正式开始。8位来自各年级的师生代表与外教代表依次上台发言，结合主题和自身经验分享心得，为新学期送上诚挚的期许与前行的力量。

外教代表Mr. Seyoum首先发言，鼓励同学们以从容的心态直面新学期的挑战，找准属于自己的前行节奏，以高效的规划、果敢的行动破解难题，在稳步前行中抵达理想的彼岸。

随后发言的高一学生代表刘逸轩同学从个性化活动的本质出发，结合自己参与芝加哥大学海洋生物学项目的经历，分享了对活动深度的理解：真正有价值的探索，源于用心的投入与持续的打磨，唯有倾注时间与精力，方能在学习与创造中产出有深度、有温度的成果。

高一教师代表温超老师则以“新状态迎接新挑战”为核心，勉励同学们做好清晰规划，保持主动探索的好奇心，敢于追问、勇于探究，挣脱课本的束缚，让知识与更广阔的世界相连，以持之以恒的坚持跨越前路的每一道难关。

高二学生代表钱静怡同学分享了自己的学习感悟，深刻诠释了“为何而学”的意义：唯有明确目标、发掘内心热爱，才能让学习更有方向；她以物理与生态研究的跨学科探索为例，鼓励同学们打破学科壁垒，让多元知识成为实现热爱的基石。

高二教师代表张远超老师则寄语学子们在新学期更进一步，既要躬身感受社会问题，保持探究创新、批判思考的思维，也要学会驾驭AI、善用AI，让科技成为学习与创新的助力，在时代浪潮中把握成长的主动权。

紧接着，高三年级的两位学生代表云朵、朱弘毅同学，结合自身的大学申请经历，上台进行分享。云朵同学强调“深化”的重要性，鼓励大家找准专属探索方向，以跨学科思维从多维角度深耕细作，让成长更有厚度；朱弘毅同学则从“热爱”与“独特”出发，以棒球教学的经历告诉大家，将热爱转化为独一无二的实践与产出，才能让成长绽放别样光彩。

 

高三教师代表李婷老师则立足时代趋势，指出世界正从追求“标准”转向崇尚“独特”，这一变化也深刻体现在升学申请与成长路上。她鼓励同学们拒绝迎合模版、勇于突破常规，走出属于自己的成长之路，以独特的姿态定义属于自己的优秀。

典礼尾声，主持人宣读了优秀社团表彰名单。本次共设立最具影响力社团、模范社团、优秀社团、杰出社团四大奖项，表彰在科技创新、人文思维、社会服务等领域表现优异的学生社团，以此激励更多社团在新学期继续深耕细作、发光发热。

2025学年第二学期的新征程已然开启，“笃行致远，步步精深”的主题，是新学期的指引，亦是前行的底色。愿星校学子们带着典礼中的期许与思考，脚踏实地走好每一步，在探索与深耕中找到属于自己的节奏，在时光里沉淀成长，在前行中遇见更好的自己。

Spring begins a new journey, with unwavering determination. On the afternoon of March 1st, 2026, the opening ceremony for the second semester of the 2025 academic year at Shanghai Starriver Bilingual School's high school division was grandly held in the school auditorium. All teachers and students gathered together, embarking on a new journey for the new semester under the theme of "Perseverance, Vision, Depth in Every Step."

At the beginning of the ceremony, two hosts announced its official commencement. Eight representatives of teachers and students from each grade, along with an expat teacher representative, took turns to speak, sharing their experiences and insights related to the theme, offering sincere expectations and encouragement for the new semester.

The expat teacher representative Mr. Seyoum shared first, encouraging students to face the challenges of the new semester with composure, find their own pace, solve problems with efficient planning and decisive action, and steadily reach their ideal destination.

Following this, Liu Yixuan, the student representative of Grade 10, shared his understanding of the depth of personalized activities, drawing on his experience participating in a marine biology project at the University of Chicago: Truly valuable exploration stems from dedicated investment and continuous refinement; Only by investing time and energy can one produce profound and meaningful results in learning and creation.

The Grade 10 teacher representative Mr. Wen then gave his speech. He focused on "Embracing New Challenges with a New Mindset," encouraging students to make clear plans, maintain a proactive curiosity, dare to ask questions and explore, break free from the constraints of textbooks, connect knowledge with a wider world, and overcome every obstacle on their path with perseverance.

Then, Qian Jingyi, the student representative of Grade 11 shared her learning insights, profoundly interpreting the meaning of "why we learn": Only by clarifying goals and discovering inner passions can learning have direction; She used the interdisciplinary exploration of physics and ecology research as an example to encourage students to break down disciplinary barriers and let diverse knowledge become the cornerstone of realizing their passions.

Mr. Zhang, the teacher representative of Grade 11, encouraged students to make further progress in the new semester. He urged them to engage with social issues, maintain a spirit of inquiry, innovation, and critical thinking, and learn to navigate and utilize AI effectively, making technology a driving force for learning and innovation, thus taking the initiative in their growth amidst the tides of the times.

Following this, two student representatives from Grade 12, Yun Duo and Zhu Hongyi, shared their experiences in college applications. Yun Duo emphasized the importance of "deepening" their understanding, encouraging everyone to find their own unique direction of exploration and cultivate their knowledge from multiple perspectives using interdisciplinary thinking, making their growth more substantial. Zhu Hongyi, starting from the concepts of "passion" and "uniqueness," used his experience teaching baseball to illustrate that transforming passion into unique practice and output is essential for growth to shine brightly.

Lastly, the Grade 12 teacher representative Ms.Li shared her views. She focused on current trends, pointing out that the world is shifting from pursuing "standards" to valuing "uniqueness," a change profoundly reflected in college applications and the path of personal growth. She encouraged students to refuse to conform to templates, dare to break with convention, and forge their own path to growth, defining their own excellence with a unique attitude.

At the end of the ceremony, the host announced the list of outstanding clubs. Four awards were presented: the most influential clubs, the Model Clubs, the outstanding clubs, and the distinguished clubs, recognizing student organizations that excelled in areas such as technological innovation, humanistic thinking, and social service. This was intended to inspire more organizations to continue their dedicated efforts and shine brightly in the new semester.

The new journey of the second semester of the 2025 academic year has begun. The theme "Perseverance, Vision, Depth in Every Step" serves as guidance for the new semester and the foundation for future progress. May the students of Shanghai Starriver Bilingual School carry the expectations and reflections from the ceremony, taking each step steadily, finding their own rhythm in exploration and cultivation, growing and maturing over time, and encountering a better version of themselves on their journey.
