秋日已至，学风正浓。新学期的序章，于今日的开学典礼中，正式落笔开篇。

开学典礼在陈博文老师的主持下拉开帷幕。党总支书记胡清湉老师、初小部教学主任郑圣洁老师以及教评副主任吴乐乐老师出席了本次活动。

典礼伊始，国歌奏响，全体师生面向屏幕中的五星红旗行礼，现场气氛庄重而热烈。

紧接着，七、八、九年级的学生代表依次上台发言。7（2）班的李思齐谈到，进入新学期不仅是跨入新年级，更是迎接新挑战、承担新责任。他分享了如何在保持优异成绩的同时助力同学、与班级共同进步。

8（6）班的陈艺诗则分享了她合理规划时间、平衡校内课程与校外兴趣的心得，并说明二者如何相互促进、共同成长。

9（1）班的柴鸿煜回顾了自己从六年级到九年级的蜕变历程——从单纯的热爱，到学会求助与助人，再到创立星校首个地理社团。他鼓励大家为心中所爱勇敢行动，收获成长与快乐。

学生代表发言结束后，教师代表计老师以“盲盒”为喻，寄语同学们：每一个新学期、每一次勇敢尝试，都如同开启一个属于自己的盲盒，未知中蕴藏惊喜。她鼓励大家以积极心态面对变化，在体验中成长，于过程中享受。

另一位教师代表Ms. Stacie则通过一名学生从五年级到九年级的成长案例，与我们分享了每学期所面临的独特挑战，以及从中获得的经验对个人与集体的深远影响。

典礼最后迎来激动人心的颁奖环节。在热烈掌声中，获奖同学依次上台。这份荣誉，是对他们过去努力的认可，是对此刻光彩的见证，更是对未来无限的期许。

开学典礼至此圆满落幕。仪式终会结束，但征程永无止境。让我们以崭新的姿态，共同开启充满希望的新学期！

 

As we cast off the dreary summer heat and embrace bright autumn winds, SSBS welcomed students to their brand new start with the opening ceremony. The school invited Secretary Hu Qingtian of the General Party Branch, Teaching Director of Middle School Department Zheng Shengjie, and Deputy Teaching Director Wu Lele to attend the ceremony, and a round of applause celebrated their arrival. After Mr. Chen Bowen, the host of the ceremony, did a brief introduction and warmly welcomed the students, the students stood up and solemnly saluted the Five-Star Red Flag.

After the salute, the student representatives for each grade genuinely expressed their personal reflections on how students should improve their academic abilities and how to smoothly adapt to the changing academic environment.

Firstly, Louie from 7-2 informed students on how to become a better student in the coming semester, and gave personal experience for students to refer to and reflect on.

Secondly, Joyce from 8-6 talked about managing time in an academic environment that required high amounts of efficiency, and how connecting the burden of improving academic abilities to hobbies would greatly lighten the load.

To sum up the previous speakers' speech, Henry from 9-1 introduced his studying method of W.W.W—world, will, and way, inspiring students on the basics of improving their general abilities, and helping them in the future semester.

In the third section, Ms. Ji Siyuan humorously referred to the student's school life as opening blind boxes. In her speech, three major themes were built: how life is made colourful because of unpredictability; progress should be valued more than the results; a valuable life is only given to those who value it. 

Meanwhile, Ms. Stacie also introduced the challenges and evolutions that one can expect in the coming school years through the story of a single student named Benji, and explained the expectations for all students in their brand new semester.

Finally, students from G5 to G9 were presented with their awards, a crystal condensed from their hard work, as the opening ceremony ended.

The SSBS opening ceremony has given the students a guide to the upcoming semester, and best wishes to every student to lead a fantastic semester ahead!
