This winter, the amazing Grade 4 and 5 students from Shanghai Starriver Bilingual School presented a fantastic talent show. Parents were all very excited waiting in the hall to see their kids’ performances.

 

SSBS Choir performed a melodious “Dona Nobis Pacem” as the opening of the show. Right after that was the dancing performance “Paper-Cutting Girls” by SSBS Dance Troupe. With their vivacious movements, these girls brought a lovely atmosphere to the audience.

 

The audience enjoyed different kinds of programs. Our amazing students presented piano solo, modern poetry recitation, rhythmic gymnastics, Chinese traditional opera, musical, and even band performance! Everyone cheered with great applause.

 

Teachers from Grade 4 and 5 prepared bonus performance and led the show to its climax. Our expat teachers revised the lyrics of the famous “Jingle Bell” and turned it into a brilliant song expressing their feelings towards their students. 

 

Chinese teachers sang a medley of “Original Dream” and “I Believe” as a wish and encouragement to their students. The applause and cheerful screaming were burst in the hall and filled everyone’s heart with joy and happiness.
