2018.12.22 | Arts Center: The 21st Art Salon - Colorful Dance

On December 7th 2018, the SSBS Art Salon held its 21st performance. The “Colorful Dance” was organized by Ms.Guan and featured Samantha, Sunny, Nina, and Nemo as dancers. The four excellent dancers gave us a superb performance. Forms of dance includes Ballet, Classical Dance and Chinese Folk Dance, which made the performance colorful. Both the dancers and guests spent a delightful and unforgettable afternoon.

Samantha

In the first movement of “Colorful Dance” Salon, Samantha performed “Bluebird”, “Giselle-Farmers”, and “Swan Lake-Friends”. The three variations, which are often the required repertories in international Ballet competitions, are the most famous and best-loved romantic ballets in classical genre. Samantha said, “I wanted to give up dancing when I had to endure the pain in my pointed toes. But each time after performance, audience’s encouragement and the honors I achieved worth my pains. I love ballet and I will keep practicing it.”

Sunny

A professional dancer can not only dance gracefully, but also communicate with audiences using their eyes. Sunny’s beautiful eyes can speak. Wearing in exotic dresses, her folk dance brought the audiences to mysterious India and Xinjiang. Of course, her pair of shiny eyes delivered many Orient stories to the audiences, which left everyone with a strong impression.

Nina

An excellent dancer must have very solid foundation, which can be told from their exquisite dancing skills. As one of the best dancers in SSBS Dance Club, Nina’s performance impressed everyone. Her delicate dancing steps and complicated dancing techniques indicated her persistent practice and hardworking. It is true that one minute on the stage needs ten years practice off stage.

Nemo

Nemo is the youngest dancer, but she is as good as the others. Her superb dance, sweet smile, and good basics also amazed everyone. Nemo played “Dance of a butterfly” and “Dance of Flute & Flowers” as her performances. Dancing with the flute sound, she was fully absorbed in the music.

The performance was a great success. SSBS Art Salon provided a perfect platform for the four students to demonstrate their dancing skills and their unique personalities. We sincerely hope they will produce more and more impressive choreographic works, and we would like to thank all the honorable guests for attending the SSBS Art Salon.
