In the pleasant April, Shanghai Starriver Bilingual School (SSBS) once again became a center for international education. At 2:00 PM on April 20, the "Wren Tour U.S. University Fair " opened at the B1 Atrium of the main campus. As a leader of international education, SSBS worked with Wren Tour to bring together admissions officers from ten famous U.S. universities. This event created a great opportunity for students to communicate directly with top schools.

The fair featured a strong group of schools that met the diverse needs of students. The list included world-famous research universities like UCLA, UC Davis, and Penn State, as well as top liberal arts colleges like Reed College and Lawrence University. Additionally, NYU Abu Dhabi brought a new perspective on international studies, while The New School provided expert advice for students interested in art and design. The University of San Francisco, the University of Tampa, and Foothill and De Anza Colleges also participated, offering many choices in terms of location and school types. Every school attracted a lot of attention with its unique academic features.

During the fair, admissions officers used brochures and clear explanations to show the charm of their campuses. Students gradually began to have deep conversations with the officers. SSBS students showed great personal qualities and a global mindset throughout the event.

In these face-to-face talks, admissions officers gave very helpful and personal feedback. The officers from UCLA and UC Davis explained the admission standards for public universities and encouraged students to show their passion for learning. The teacher from Reed College praised our students' serious attitude toward their studies and discussed the value of a liberal arts education. The officer from NYU Abu Dhabi emphasized the importance of being capable on a global level. Through these high-quality discussions, students gained a deep understanding of each school's ideas and became clearer about their future goals.

This university fair was not just about getting information; it was also a journey of self-discovery. Admissions officers did more than just introduce academic resources; they also gave honest advice on how to balance grades, personal growth, and social responsibility based on each student's interests.

Many students said that this event made the abstract application process much easier to understand. It helped them think more deeply about how to match their own personality with a university’s culture.

The success of the Wren Tour U.S. University Fair shows the strong ability of SSBS to provide great resources for international education. It also gave students a clear direction for the busy application season. In this dialogue about dreams and the future, every student gained valuable inspiration and moved forward toward their goals with a clearer mind and more motivation.
