2026 Charity Fair of SSBS
On March 19, 2026, the charity fair organized by the associated student body was held in the school cafeteria, attracting enthusiastic participation from the entire school. Through booth operations and token-based transactions, the event created a platform for showcasing creativity and spreading kindness.
As the afternoon bell rang, the cafeteria gradually buzzed with activity, and various artistic performances instantly ignited the atmosphere. Near the entrance, international teachers delivered heartfelt performances, their powerful high notes and dedicated acts drawing a large crowd of teachers and students. Following that, the music show "Come From Away" brought the cafeteria down with its infectious rhythm, adding a strong artistic vibe to the charity fair.
Various booths drew participants with innovative activities. The F1 racing simulator experience, offering a thrill of speed and excitement, became a highlight and impressed visitors with its novelty. The “golden egg smashing” game, filled with surprises, scattered eggshells on the tables bearing witness to moments of good fortune. A booth featuring exquisite trading cards became a popular gathering spot for sports enthusiasts. Meanwhile, another booth dedicated to ACGN artifacts attracted many fans with its beautifully designed standees and badges.
The selection of books was truly dazzling. The “Bibliovores” bookstand displayed a wide array of English and French books spanning psychology, philosophy, science, literature, and more, alongside various elegant stationery items and notebooks, showcasing the rich cultural depth of Starriver students. In the food section, aside from popular snacks, cotton candy-themed treats handmade by members of the Food Club stood out as a highlight, drawing numerous teachers and students to stop and taste them.
Along with the dazzling array of goods, the Dr. Bio Biology Club captured significant attention with its unique natural aesthetics. The booth artfully displayed butterfly specimens that preserved the beauty of life, along with decorations crafted from wings that shimmered with iridescence, transforming the diversity of life into art. Next to it, a booth brought the awe of science: sharply faceted copper sulfate crystals displayed a deep blue hue, creating a silent dialogue between science and aesthetics. Pawtential created acrylic keychains featuring pet designs, allowing these adorable companions to stay by our side.
ASB Sports Department’s “Charity in Motion” was also in full swing. Through passing and striking, students released bursts of energy, turning every throw and hit into a lively expression of kindness. Under the magnolia tree by the cafeteria, volleyball passing challenges, frisbee relay games, and bowling strike challenges were carried out with great enthusiasm. Laughter weaved into the rhythm of volleyball exchanges; light green frisbees traced arcs across the sky; and the knocks of bowling provides a beat for the music performances inside the cafeteria. After completing the challenges, students received tokens, allowing kindness to continue circulating. Our school’s sports culture goes beyond space—from the cafeteria to the playground, every corner is full of energy.
There is no limits on time as warm charity sales and lively sports activities happen together.
Youth is priceless, and so is kindness!
This lively campus charity fair was a relay of love and kindness. Each transaction was not merely an exchange of goods, but care. Behind every booth lay the sincere effort and compassion of our students. In the end, nearly ten thousand yuan was raised. Our kindness will be carried to those in need, allowing the seeds of charity to take root and grow through the collective efforts of the community.
