Since founded in 2005, the Conrad Spirit Of Innovation Challenge has become an international science and technology innovation competition for secondary school students aged 13 to 18, pioneering the integration of scientific inquiry, innovative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit. According to an official announcement by the China Organizing Committee of the Conrad Innovation Competition, this year’s China finals brought together nearly 170 teams and approximately 600 high school students from across the country to compete.

Another team from the school, Aqualytix, received the national bronze award in the same category for its project,“Urban green irrigation system based on infrared spectroscopy”. Meanwhile, the Brain+ club from SSBS was also invited by the organizers to exhibt their project on the interdisciplinary technology of brain science and computer science at the Conrad finals. On behalf of the school, they accepted the Outstanding Leadership Award presented to the school by the organizers.

Behind this honor lies the fusion of SSBS's systematic cultivation and students' self-driven growth, as well as the resonance between innovative spirit and practical capability. We look forward to our SSBS students continuing to strive for excellence in the upcoming Global Finals, nurturing the small inspirations born on campus into towering trees that truly benefit society. May more SSBS youths embark from here, using wisdom to respond to the questions of our era, and leaving the thoughts and responsibilities of their generation on the world stage.
