2025 SSBS ASB Election
On November 20, 2025, students gathered at the auditorium for the Associated Student Body (ASB) election. Seventy students from all three grades competed for nine different departments, demonstrating their abilities and visions.
The election began with the candidates of Grade Representatives. They demonstrated their outstanding communication and organization skills and expressed their determination to enhance connection among students.
The students competing for the Publicity Department shared their solid experience in photography and artistic design and highlighted their plans to enhance publicity operations.
The Art Department featured the most competitors this year. The candidates presented diverse artistic talents including directing, fine arts creation, and social media operation. They demonstrated their unique abilities to inject new creativity into campus events.
The P.E. Department candidates include varsity members, organizers of school sports events, and school record-holders. They aspire to provide greater resources and athletic opportunities for the student body.
The Secretary Department candidates focused on creating a transparent and efficient student council. They proposed insightful methods to streamline communication and optimize resource distribution.
Candidates from the Regulations Department spoke about their plans in enhancing transparency by prioritizing accountability and proposing reforms in the supervision and implementation of all ASB projects.
The Treasury Department candidates showcased their financial expertise and promised efficient budget management, aiming to maximize the benefit of every expenditure for the student body.
The Study Department candidates presented their top academic achievements. They proposed further initiatives for improving study resources and platforms to support their peers academically.
The election closed with the President candidates. They demonstrated a clear understanding of how all departments should function together and presented vision to foster a more inclusive and innovative campus culture.
Throughout the two-hour election, candidates took the stage to affirm their commitment to serve the school with integrity and passion. The election set the stage for new leaders to step up and shape a better year for the SSBS student community.
