SSBS VEX robotics team has won the national championship and the third place in the regional league of the 2025-2026 VEX Robotics Invitational and VEX Academy National League, which was held in Suzhou from November 21st to 23rd. This time, our school sent a total of 7 teams from grades 10 and 11 to participate, and successfully claimed the national championship and the third place in the regional league.

The VRC high school group of this competition had a total of 61 teams. Whether it was the round-robin scoring system in the qualification round or the single-elimination system in the knockout stage, every round was full of uncertainties. A slight mistake could cause months of hard work to go to waste, and the competition was more intense than ever before. Our school's VEX robotics team, with solid technical skills, decisive on-the-spot responses, and an unwavering belief, successfully broke through and won the national championship and the third place in the regional league, two major honors.

The heavy trophies were forged through countless days and nights of hard work. Since the start of the preparation in the middle of this year, the lights in the robotics training room often stayed on until late at night, and even all night before the competition. Building machines, repairing machines, modifying machines, adjusting programs, and practicing control... The team members joked that this was "endless overtime" and "unending nights". It was these repeated gritted teeth and facing challenges head-on that laid a solid foundation for the team's achievements.

This historic breakthrough is not only a victory of the team members' skills and willpower, but also a testament to the effectiveness of our school's science and technology innovation cultivation. The school has always prioritized STEM education and provided students with a practical platform for "identifying problems - solving problems - breakthrough innovation". In the future, our school will continue to focus on science and technology innovation education, allowing more students to gain the valuable qualities of daring to take risks and never giving up on the road of pursuing their technological dreams.
