As an international high school math competition hosted by DUMU and supported by the Department of Mathematics at Duke University, the Duke Math Meet has been dedicated to building a high-level academic exchange platform for young math enthusiasts worldwide since its inception. Gathering math elites from top high schools around the globe, the competition is renowned for its rigorous question design and diverse formats. It assesses students' comprehensive abilities in logical reasoning, modeling and analysis, team collaboration, and more, serving as an important bridge connecting high school learning and university mathematics research.

In the individual competition, Grade 11 student Lu Chang and Grade 12 student Zhang Yucheng from SSBS both achieved a high score of 9 out of 10, ranking among the top globally. The High School Math Club of SSBS has adhered to the mentorship mechanism of "seniors guiding juniors" for years. During weekly meetings, senior students lead juniors to solve problems together, discuss ideas, and share strategies, turning math learning into a journey of intellectual joy and team growth. Their passion for math has empowered SSBS students with confidence and courage to tackle the challenges of the AI era, keeping the High School Math Club vibrant and thriving as a fertile ground for nurturing math talents.

The outstanding achievements at this year's Duke Math Meet are a testament to SSBS's long-term emphasis on fostering academic depth, international perspective, and cross-cultural communication skills. The school will continue to lead academic exploration from a global perspective, cultivating more future innovative talents who dare to think, collaborate effectively, and courageously break through. Here, we extend our sincere congratulations and gratitude to all award-winning students, the dedicated math faculty team, and the parents and alumni who have always supported students' growth!
