As we bid farewell to the winter holiday and embrace the spring breeze, a new semester has begun. On February 16th, students of SSBS gathered in the auditorium to celebrate their achievements and look forward to the new semester. The opening ceremony was attended by President Ms. Ma of the Primary and Junior High School Department, Teaching Director Ms. Zheng, and Deputy Teaching Director Ms. Wu. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Zhu Jiaming. 

Siyuan Wang, Dingning Luo, and Ziqi Gao shared their introspective reflections on studying. They cited personal experiences, traditional Chinese sayings, and social observations to support the credibility of their speeches. Furthermore, Mr. Han Tao, representing the faculty, discussed the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning. Introducing the topic with DeepSeek, the latest hot AI, Mr. Han emphasized that AI should serve as a tool to inspire thinking, rather than replace it. He encouraged students to ask thought-provoking questions to both the AI and themselves.   

After these wonderful speeches, the award-winning students walked up to the stage to receive their certificates, which symbolize their outstanding work and improvement.

Amidst cheers and applause, the opening ceremony came to a successful end. We sincerely hope that all students will continue to thrive in the new semester.
