2018.09.24: G1-3 | Embracing National Day

With the advent of the National Day, SSBS held different activities to celebrate the National Day from grade one to grade three. These activities were aimed at further cultivating children's love for our motherland and planting the seed of remembering this important national tradition into children's minds.

After listening carefully to the teacher's introduction of the National Day, grade one students began to paint the flags and to stick straws on the edge of the red flags. They can wave these painted flags on the National Day to celebrate the birthday of the motherland!

In Friday’s PG class, grade two students tried to know more about China’s territory based on the Chinese map. They were surprised by the variety of provinces, their local characteristics and customs. What attracted them most was the activity that they coloured their own Chinese maps by using different colours.

Grade three children wrote letters to express their purest and sincere love and blessings to the motherland. In the class, the children were deeply attracted by the teacher's explanation of the history of the motherland. Then they watched a video to know the country's growing prosperity and strength.

Happy Birthday to our motherland!
