On September 3rd, the long-awaited opening ceremony of the first to third grades in SSBS was held in the auditorium, and all the teachers and students attended.

With the National Anthem, the opening ceremony started. Mrs. Lawman, Director of Education in Primary School, first delivered a speech. In her speech, she put forward the requirements for the new semester, and hoped that all teachers and students could achieve their goals step by step.

After Mrs. Lawman’s speech, student representatives from Grade one, Grade two, and Grade three, Elizabeth, Amy and Eason, delivered their speeches. Elizabeth shared what she learnt and how she felt during the summer school with all the teachers and new students. Then, Amy told us the importance of taking interest in your studies by making herself an example. Finally, Eason shared his three most important learning habits he with all the children, they are concentrating in class, asking questions in time when confused and doing more reading after homework.

Finally, Principle Wang and Mrs. Lawman awarded the certificates to "Ten Stars" winners and encouraged them to achieve further improvement.

The opening ceremony ended happily in a joyous atmosphere. The first semester of the 2018-2019 academic year is facing a new start. May every child grow up healthily and happily in the new semester!
